New York, NY – November 21, 2011 – CJP Communications co-founder and CEO Jennifer Prosek won a Stevie Award for Best Entrepreneur – Service Businesses - Up to 100 Employees - Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations at the Stevie Awards for Women in Business on Friday, November 14, 2011.
More than 300 nominees and their guests attended the awards dinner at New York’s Marriott Marquis Hotel. The event benefitted Camfed (camfed.org), which fights poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa by educating girls and empowering women to become leaders of change.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The awards are one of four Stevie Awards programs, which have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
In winning the Stevie, Jennifer Prosek beat out seven other finalists including Brightline and Stern Investor Relations. More than 1,300 entries – a record for the competition - were submitted this year for consideration in 75 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, Women Helping Women, and Communications Campaign of the Year.
Finalists in the competition were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of six final judging committees selected Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging. More than 200 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process this year.
