Cubitt Jacobs & Prosek Communications Earns Three National Design Awards
New York, NY. – Creative director David Zamba and Cubitt Jacobs & Prosek (CJP) Communications recently garnered multiple 2005 American Graphic Design Awards for print collateral, logo design and Web site creation.
CJP’s work with The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., one of the largest investment and insurance companies in the United States, tallied awards for brochure and website design for the Playbook for Life campaign. In conjunction with The Hartford, CJP created a 24-page guidebook and companion Website (www.playbook.thehartford.com). The Playbook for Life is designed to help college student-athletes make smart financial decisions as they plan for their future.
The guidebook and Website are filled with financial advice from setting goals and creating personal budgets to various savings and investment options.
CJP also won in the logos, trademark and symbols category for the development of the identity program for The Valley Community Foundation. The foundation provides a vehicle for private philanthropy that directly benefits neighbors, friends and community organizations in the Housatonic River Valley of Connecticut. The logo features an abstract river that emphasizes the geographic and metaphorical thread that unites the towns serviced by the foundation.
"We’re thrilled to receive such prestigious design awards for the second year in a row," said Dave Zamba, creative director at Cubitt Jacobs & Prosek Communications.
Last year, CJP won awards for creating the Connecticut Emissions Program Website (www.ctemissions.com).
"Knowing that both these projects have such an impact on the lives of others makes the recognition that much sweeter. The Playbook for Life is a national educational program that will help student-athletes establish good financial habits that will pay off big time as they embark on their lives, and The Valley Community Foundation directly supports my hometown community," added Zamba.
