Firm Adds Two Key Members to Cultivate Growing Client Base
New York – May 3, 2005 - CJP Communications, a full-service communications firm with offices in New York, Connecticut and London, today announced two new additions to its investor relations team. Thomas J. Rozycki, Jr., vice president, and Alan Katz, senior account executive, will anchor the staff, servicing the firm’s growing base of investor relations clients.
Rozycki is a seasoned IR professional, bringing eight years of client and agency investor relations experience to the firm. Prior to joining CJP, he spent four years with GCI Group in New York. While his engagements there included many different sectors, his core focus was on marine transport.
In addition to his investor relations experience, Rozycki also contributes competencies in crisis management, executive positioning, change management and financial media relations.
Rozycki is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and previously served as a member of the Corporate Advisory Counsel for the National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC). Rozycki earned a bachelor of science degree in English from Trenton State College.
Katz has more than five years of experience working in corporate communications and investor relations for a number of U.S. and global organizations. Most recently, at Makovsky & Company, his career has exposed him to many different sectors and market capitalizations, working with both international and U.S.-based financial services and technology clients.
Katz earned a NIRI-sponsored Investor Relations Certificate from New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and he earned a bachelor of arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Rochester.
"The addition of Tom and Alan to our investor relations staff signifies a deepening commitment to the investor relations practice at CJP," said Jennifer Prosek, managing partner at CJP. "Tom has secured several significant pieces of new business, including International Shipping Enterprises, RoomLinX, Inc., and Tegal Corporation, and has established a robust pipeline of new business opportunities," said Prosek.
"Alan’s experience and dedication will enable the team to provide an unparalleled level of service and counsel to our clients," Prosek continued. "We look forward to working together as we continue to build this business at our firm."
