NEW YORK - March 1, 2008 - Wilson Cleveland, vice president of CJP Digital, the digital media practice of CJP Communications, has been selected by the British American Business Council to participate in its Future of Media Technology panel discussion at the Harvard Club in New York City, March 11.
The event will be moderated by a representative from PricewaterhouseCoopers and will include speakers from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the Financial Times and General Electric Commercial Finance – Media, Communications & Entertainment. Discussion topics will range from the strategic implementation of recently developed technology to the modernization of media.
As the head of CJP Digital, Cleveland oversees the company’s award-winning social media and digital marketing services department. In May 2007, CJP received the 2007 PRSA Big Apple Award for New Media Campaign of the Year for its social media campaign launching the MINI Cooper credit card.
Cleveland started the practice following his tenure as a principal in the firm’s Technology group in which he managed accounts including Gartner, META Group, Siemens, Sapient and PalTalk. Current digital clients include IGA Worldwide, Didit, space150, Pluggd, Adconion and LimeLife.
Prior to CJP, Cleveland began his career as a publicist with entertainment PR firm mPRm where he supported campaigns for Marvel Comics, Dreamworks Television, Fox and Miramax.
Cleveland graduated from Boston University in 1996 with a degree in Communications.
