Kollar to continue focus on financial services growth for firm.
NEW YORK – April 15, 2008 –Cubitt Jacobs & Prosek Communications (CJP), a leading independent full-service communications firm, today announced that Mark Kollar, who leads the Financial Services Group, has been named a partner. Mark, who has 25 years of industry experience, specializes in strategic counsel and crisis communications. Mark, who has created award-winning media relations campaigns, draws on his first-hand market experience as former trader and journalist. As a partner, he will continue to help build the Financial Services Group at CJP and work closely with clients on strategic media-relations campaigns. Mark is based in CJP’s New York office.

Prior to joining CJP, Mark worked as a journalist for Knight-Ridder, Dow Jones and Thomson Financial. He was also a trader on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in the stock-index and Eurodollar futures markets. Additionally, Mark is the author of Twenty-Four Hour Trading: The Global Network of Futures and Options Markets.
