CJP Communications Named Agency of Record for World Gold Council U.S.

NEW YORK – March 18, 2008 – CJP Communications (CJP), a leading independent full-service communications firm, today announced that it has been retained by the World Gold Council (WGC) to provide public relations services for WGC’s Corporate initiatives in the U.S. 

As part of the corporate program, CJP will work with WGC to promote the economic, industrial and social uses of gold, as well as increase the overall awareness of the value of gold. The program will also aim to educate appropriate audiences on WGC’s capabilities by focusing on executive positioning and the distribution of research. CJP will offer a strategic mix of media relations, investor relations, executive positioning and thought-leadership counsel.

CJP currently serves as the public and investor relations advisor for WGC’s Investment Research & Marketing program in the U.S. In this role, CJP is responsible for increasing the awareness of the investment attributes of gold for current and potential investors, as well as increasing WGC’s visibility in the financial press.
