New York, NY. – Creative director David Zamba and Cubitt Jacobs & Prosek Communications (CJP) recently captured an American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA magazine. The awards, which are judged by a nationwide panel of distinguished design professionals, are among the most prestigious in the graphic design industry.
CJP’s work with The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., one of the largest investment and insurance companies in the United States, garnered the award in the brochure category for The Business Owners Playbook. In conjunction with The Hartford, CJP created a 40-page guidebook designed to provide practical information on a range of topics that business owners face at different stages of the business life cycle. Organized in sections for emerging, growing and transitioning companies, the guide covers such topics as business structure, finance, compensation, benefits, insurance, retirement and estate planning.
"I’m pleased to have had the opportunity to work on such an important business resource. The guide is a tremendous time-saving tool that provides comprehensive information for owners on critical business and personal financial issues," said Zamba, creative director at Cubitt Jacobs & Prosek Communications.
The American Graphic Design Awards Program, sponsored by GraphicDesign:usa magazine, recognizes excellence in design in two dozen categories including web, print, advertising, identity programs and packaging. Less than 10 percent of the more than 11,000 entries are chosen as winners by a jury of the nation’s leading creative directors. Award-winning pieces appeared in a special December 2007 awards issue of GraphicDesign:usa.
