Brian has over 11 years of experience providing strategic investor, corporate, financial and crisis communications counsel to senior management and corporate boards. He has helped position numerous M&A transactions and IPOs, both in agency and internal roles. Brian also has extensive experience managing institutional and sell-side relationships, executing comprehensive investor perception audits and implementing social media campaigns.
 
Brian possesses significant TMT (Technology, Media & Telecom) experience, having worked with seven of the top ten US-focused MSOs, as well as a wide range of broadcasters, entertainment providers, advertising companies and technology enablers. Brian also served in an internal capacity as Director of Investor Relations at ntl, guiding the company through its acquisitions of Telewest Global and Virgin Mobile UK.
 
In addition, Brian has considerable experience in the financial services sector, assisting senior management teams with corporate and crisis communications and reputation management. Select clients include BNY Mellon Wealth Management, GE Capital, GMAC Financial Services, Franklin Templeton, First Reserve Corporation and Jefferies, among others.
 
In 2009, Brian received the SABRE Award in the category of Telecommunications from The Holmes Report and an Honorable Mention in the category of Investor/Financial Communications Campaign of the Year at the PRWeek Awards for his work with FairPoint Communications. Brian assisted FairPoint through its 15 month, $2.7 billion acquisition of Verizon’s wireline assets in northern New England. He oversaw all corporate communications and investor relations efforts on FairPoint’s behalf, while also managing several regional PR agencies and local and national advertising agencies.
 
Prior to joining CJP Communications, Brian was a vice president of Investor Relations at Brainerd Communicators. Brian started his career at Morgen-Walke Associates.
 
Brian graduated from the University of Delaware with an Advanced Honor’s Certificate and Bachelor’s Degree in English, with a concentration in Business and Technical Writing.
