Susan has over 20 years experience in communications, public relations and journalism. She is CJP’s editorial director and the firm’s writing specialist. Susan produces and oversees a range of written materials for CJP clients, including bylined articles, website copy, white papers, brochures, guidebooks and handbooks, marketing materials, Op-Eds and speeches. She also supervises select professional services accounts.
 
Prior to joining CJP in 2000, Susan was deputy director of public information for New Haven Mayor John DeStefano Jr. She was a reporter for The Connecticut Law Tribune and The Berkshire Eagle in Pittsfield, MA. She also worked in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, Labor Racketeering Bureau, as an investigative analyst.  
 
Susan earned a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She holds a bachelor’s degree in literature and creative writing from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA.
