Prior to his current role as a Media Relations Specialist at CJP Communications, Steven was a reporter and sports anchor for ABC in North Dakota. During this time he covered the devastating flooding of the Red River, strings of tornadoes that ravished the Midwest, and military operations pertaining to the war in Afghanistan. His coverage was picked up nationally including by ABC News. He has interviewed military officials, sports figures and developed relationships with politicians who currently work alongside president Obama. He also covered higher education at a state level as well as breaking news. In addition to his on camera work he served as a photographer and assisted in the production of the nightly newscasts.
